About Us

History of the New Smyrna Beach Police Athletic League

The New Smyrna Beach Police Athletic League (PAL) was organized in 2000 with approximately 45 children with the thought of getting kids involved in a positive and life changing program. With so many negative influences and temptations that face children today, the New Smyrna Beach Police Athletic League wants to be there to help and offer the alternative by developing friendships, provide positive role models and build commodore among the kids.

Today, the New Smyrna Beach Police Athletic League’s membership includes over 300 children between the ages of 7 – 17. An active board, numerous volunteers, community support and most importantly the youth themselves makes NSB PAL a great success year after year.
